FOIA Sent
Process Begins
After a FOIA is faxed to the delta county prosecutors office they have 5 business days to reply, or apply for a 10 day extension.

Review
Review the response packet.
The public body comes back with a response of either GRANTED, GRANTED IN PART, or DENIED

Appeal
Final Steps
If the decision by the public body isn't acceptable an appeal can be made to the board of commissioners within 180 days. If the uphold the denial, civil court is the next step.
